Cloud server, we run it

Managed Cloud VPS

The same machine, with our engineers holding the root password.

You need a server, not a second job. We do the setup, hardening, patching, monitoring, backup verification and the incident response. You get a working stack and someone to message when it breaks.

Manassas, United States Usually the better pick for the Americas. included
Hostname

e.g. srv1.yourdomain.com — used for the reverse DNS record. You can change it later.

What you get

We do the build Tell us what you need to run — LEMP, Node, Docker, a database, a mail relay — and we hand you a hardened, monitored, working server rather than an empty Ubuntu box.
Patching and monitoring Security updates applied on a schedule, with a maintenance window you agree to. Uptime, disk, memory and certificate expiry watched around the clock.
We answer the alert When something breaks, the page goes to us. You find out because we told you and it is already being worked on.
Unmetered traffic We do not sell bandwidth by the gigabyte and we do not send surprise overage invoices. Sustained abuse of a shared uplink is a conversation, not a bill.
Free reverse DNS Set the PTR record on every IP from your dashboard. If you are sending mail from this server you will need it, and we are not going to charge you for a DNS record.
Rescue mode and console Locked yourself out with a firewall rule at 2am? Boot the rescue system and fix it yourself. You never need to wait for us to get back into your own machine.
DDoS filtering Volumetric attack filtering at the network edge, included, always on. It is not an upsell here.
Renewal = signup The price you pay in month one is the price you pay in month sixty. There is no introductory rate on this catalogue.

Where it runs

Nuremberg, Germany and Manassas, United States. KVM virtualisation on AMD EPYC with DDR5 ECC memory. NVMe on the Cloud, Managed and Dedicated lines; enterprise SSD on Lite and Storage.

You choose which datacentre your server is provisioned in at checkout. Pick the one closer to where most of your users are — Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia are usually best served from Nuremberg, and the Americas from Manassas. Not sure? Tell us where your traffic comes from and we will place it for you.

Real engineers on WhatsApp, Monday to Saturday, 05:00–14:00 UTC.

The small print, in plain words

Billing Monthly or annual. Annual works out around 10% cheaper than twelve monthly payments.
Renewal Renews at the same price you signed up at. No introductory pricing anywhere in this catalogue.
Upgrades Move up a size at any time. The server reboots once, keeps its disk and its IP, and you pay the prorated difference.
Downgrades At renewal only. Disks cannot be shrunk safely, so a downgrade means a rebuild — plan for it.
Cancellation Cancel any time from your dashboard. The server runs to the end of the paid period, then stops.
Data after cancellation Disks are held for 7 days after expiry, then securely wiped. Take your data out before then.
Refunds Seven days on a first VPS order, no argument. Dedicated servers and any month with a licence fee already paid to a third party are not refundable.
Acceptable use No spam, no phishing, no bulk scanning, no torrent trackers for pirated material, nothing that will get our IP ranges blacklisted. Read the AUP before you order — we enforce it.
Suspension Abuse reports get you an email and a window to fix it, except for active outbound attacks, which we null-route first and email second.
What managed covers The operating system, the services we installed, security patching, backups and monitoring. Your application code is yours — we will help debug it, but we will not write it under this contract.
Support hours Monitoring is 24/7 and automated response is 24/7. Human engineers are on Monday to Saturday, 05:00–14:00 UTC, plus out-of-hours callout for anything down.

Questions people actually ask

Why can I not pick CPU, RAM and disk separately?

Because almost every combination you could build that way is a machine that performs badly. One vCPU with 64 GB of RAM is not a bargain, it is a bottleneck with expensive memory attached. We size CPU, memory and storage together so that whichever notch you pick, the machine is balanced. If you genuinely need an unusual ratio — a lot of memory against few cores, say — message us and we will quote it as a custom build.

Can I make it bigger later?

Yes. Move up a notch any time from your dashboard. The server reboots once, keeps its disk contents and its IP address, and you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the period. Going back down is a renewal-time change, because disks cannot be shrunk safely.

What does unmetered traffic actually mean?

It means we do not count your gigabytes and we do not invoice you for them. The port speed listed is the real limit. If a single server starts saturating a shared uplink continuously we will call you and talk about a dedicated port — you will not discover it through a bill.

Where are the servers?

Nuremberg, Germany and Manassas, United States. You choose which one at checkout. Moving to the other one later means a rebuild, so pick with your audience in mind — or tell us where your traffic comes from and we will place it for you.

Do I get root access?

You can have it on request, but by default we hold it — that is what makes the machine manageable. If you want the root password permanently, buy the self-managed line instead; it is cheaper and it is the honest product for that.

Can I run Windows?

Yes. Pick Windows Server 2022 or 2025 Standard as the operating system and the licence is included in the monthly price. Every size we sell has at least 4 GB of RAM, so there is no configuration here where Windows will not boot.

What about backups?

Backups are an option, not an assumption — you choose the retention at checkout and you can change it later. If you choose none, you are your own backup. We would rather say that plainly than let you find out during a restore.

How fast is provisioning?

Usually inside 30 minutes of your payment clearing. Bank transfers clear when we see them, so those depend on your bank rather than on us.

What is actually included in "managed"?

Initial build to your spec, OS hardening, firewall, security patching on an agreed schedule, uptime and resource monitoring, backup configuration and restore testing, and incident response when something breaks. Your application code is not included — we will help you debug it, but building your app is a separate engagement.

Is support 24/7?

Monitoring and automated response are 24/7. Human engineers work Monday to Saturday, 05:00–14:00 UTC, with out-of-hours callout for anything that is actually down. We are not going to claim a 24/7 staffed desk we do not run.
